MERZOUGA DUNES MOTORCYCLE TOUR: 3 DAYS OF ENDURO
The Merzouga dunes motorcycle tour is our flagship 3-day offering to live a technical and unforgettable adventure. This route is not just a journey, but a challenge designed for riders seeking real sensations in the Sahara. To begin, we will make a progressive entry to build confidence on compact sand. However, we will soon face the highest dunes, narrow crests and steep descents of Erg Chebbi.
On this tour in Merzouga, reading the terrain and throttle control are the keys to success. We will also discover seasonal lakes and fine sand corridors, enjoying the silence of the desert broken only by the roar of our powerful KTM 450cc motorcycles. This enduro experience is configured to explore the diversity of Saharan terrain, from giant dunes to technical mountain passes in southern Morocco.
DAY 1: TECHNICAL STAGE – MERZOUGA DUNES MOTORCYCLE TOUR
After a technical briefing, we make a progressive entry into the Erg Chebbi dunes. The first hours are ideal for finding rhythm on compact sand before attacking the highest dunes. We will practise technical riding on crests and steep descents, finishing in the golden light of sunset. Dinner and accommodation at a high-quality Riad or Hotel in the Merzouga area.
DAY 2: CROSSING MERZOUGA – OUZINA – TAFRAOUT SIDI ALI
Crossing southward through the deep desert. During this stage of the Merzouga dunes motorcycle tour, we alternate technical dunes with fast tracks. We will then cross dry riverbeds (oueds) and tackle a demanding final rocky mountain section before reaching the remote oasis of Tafraout.
DAY 3: RETURN TO THE MERZOUGA DUNES
Return via rocky tracks and high-speed open plains in the M’Harech area. The terrain allows a fluid pace before returning to the deep desert sand. We will enjoy an epic finale returning to the Merzouga dunes for one last hour of adrenaline before sunset. Transfer for dinner and rest in Errachidia.
